In this episode, Sue and Marsha are sharing some thoughts on energy, how important it is when we are showing up to build our businesses and how to set criteria when it comes to choosing mentorship. They also share how close they are to seeing the book cover templates and how the first edition of Every Body Holds A Story Collaborative Book.
In this episode we discuss:
1) How important it is to pay
attention to our energy in our life and business. Our energy
is our responsibility and it starts with paying attention to what
fills us up and what doesn’t. We also tied this into choosing
mentorship and setting criteria for what we choose to surround
ourselves with, and there is no strategy that can help you when
your mindset is needing support.
2)
How to be mindful of the energy we are carrying that is not ours to
carry. We spend so much time carrying opinions, thoughts,
emotions that aren’t ours to carry and when the universe brings us
ideas and opportunities, we can’t take a step forward because our
hands are full of things that aren’t ours to hold onto.
3)
We spoke briefly about responding to all of the challenges, trauma
that surround us every day. We have to remember that we get
to choose what we see, what we surround ourselves with and what we
consume. We get to choose the energy we get to be in everyday
and find ways to be kinder to ourselves on a daily basis.
4)
Upcoming over the next few weeks we will be interviewing a number
of our authors on the podcast and sending in Every Body Holds A
Story Volume 1 into the editor. We are so proud of the
journey these authors have come through in sharing their
