Today we are speaking with one
of our authors in the upcoming release of Every Body Holds A Story,
Jillian Price. Jillian Price lives in London, Ontario, Canada, and
is a wife, mother of two, and senior executive working for a large
national company in the field of Audiology. She has spent most of
her life immersed in education, first as a student herself earning
degrees in Psychology and Communication Sciences and Disorders from
Western University, and later as an instructor teaching students
and mentoring young graduates entering the profession of Audiology.
She is passionate about education and sharing her knowledge with
others. In her free time, Jillian finds joy in simple things. An
impromptu kitchen dance party, watching movies, intimate gatherings
with close friends, and spending time with her family are her
favourite pastimes.
In
this episode we discuss.
1) Jill shares her journey through breast
cancer at a young age, and how she became an investigator to find
as many possibilities to support her emotional and physical health
during her treatment.
2) Jill’s writing process, how she dove
into the experience and how she learned to trust the importance of
her story in supporting others to not feel alone during their
diagnosis.
3) How Jill came to be in the
collaborative book, through a connection of her sister’s reels and
