Today we are speaking
with Reiki Master Teacher &
Spiritual Mentor/ Singer Songwriter & Sound Healer/ Movement
Facilitator, Natasha Aine. Natasha is Mi’kmaq from Bouctouche &
Elsipogtog First Nation, Irish, Austrian, and Nordic. Natasha is
the Founder and Director of The Goddess Healing Grove, which
focuses on Earth based healing practices, heavily directed and
influenced by Natasha’s study and journey as a Reiki Master,
Indigenous Drum & Medicine Carrier, and Irish Priestess. Natasha is
currently on what she calls her “Journey to Joy”, as she unravels
and redefines her life according to what brings her joy. In 2020
Natasha was diagnosed with cancer for the third time, this time it
is proving to be the most intense and captivating healing journey
with cancer yet. Her connection to Mother Earth, the Goddess, and
Great Spirit, Creator, has been one of the most spiritual
experiences of her life and continues to inspire healing within
herself and also for others. May the gift of life keep on
giving.
In this episode we dive into:
1) Natasha is truly a
storyteller and she shares so much of her experience of being
diagnosed with cancer at a young age, how she’s spent years going
inward, connecting with nature and spirit, and how her journey as a
Reiki Master and Indigenous Drum & Medicine Carrier has continued
to support her healing.
2) How our strengths can
become our weaknesses and how we have to keep checking in, going
internal and ask the hard questions to rewire our conditioning and
what is important for us. There’s always room to change or shift,
we have to allow ourselves the space to listen to the answers that
support us.
3) How cancer is portrayed in the media, in books, movies, and how it’s not a clear representation of the journey. It easily becomes embedded in our approach to how we speak to others about cancer or even any of the difficult topics that we don’t want to talk about. We dove into the spectrum of healing and how learning to share our stories helps us connect with others.
