Today we are speaking with ThetaHealing Practitioner and Career & Life Coach, Alana Ruoso. Alana is a certified ThetaHealing Practitioner and Career & Life Coach for those eager to release their limiting beliefs, ditch the struggle, and own their value.

After spending more than 20 arduous years in corporate as a brand manager, art director and graphic designer, Alana realized she simply could not keep going. She woke up every day feeling tired, anxious, fearful, and overcome with sadness, knowing her draining lifestyle was pushing her far, far away from healthy fulfillment. As a recovering people-pleaser, achievement addict, and toxic-workplace survivor, Alana is passionate about helping others reconnect with their true purpose and fall back into alignment.

Her journey into ThetaHealing has been unexpected and beautiful. She was inspired to jump feet-first into this work after her own coach asked a simple question: “How are you honoring your spiritual self?” Yikes! That was her cue to reconnect with herself and pivot towards the work she truly loves.

In this episode we dive into:

1) The Healing process, what that can look like, and how healing is about ongoing.  When we are unaware of our own patterns, we continue to self-sabotage, continue to make it hard and full of struggle.  Healing involves the shifting of these patterns, breaking the repeat patterns and making different choices. 

2)  Alana dove into her own history of healing herself, after dealing with years of migraines, and how her body continually gave her feedback throughout her life. She shared how she had to work through her fear especially when it came to experiencing symptoms similar to what her dad had experienced when he was sick with esophageal cancer.

3)  ThetaHealing was one of the tools that Alana used and it was hugely impactful for managing her anxiety, her nervous system, hiatus hernia pain and related issues and consistent guided meditations brought her into a theta state to help support her healing. It was even more confirmation that her symptoms were  not really about her diet, and more about emotional healing and also exercise for energy to move and release energy and anxiety.
