Today we are speaking with Kim Basler.  Kim is an Author, Speaker, Food Freedom and Mindset Coach.  Kim understands first hand the struggles around emotional eating, chronic dieting and body image issues. With over 28 years working in the health and fitness industry she is invested in helping women find a balanced approach towards healthy living.  Her training at the Institute for the Psychology of Eating enables her to use a mind body centred approach to nutrition as well as cutting edge eating psychology strategies. Kim believes in a holistic approach to health. Moving beyond the number on the scale and embracing health through mind, body and spirit. She is also a published author in a collaborative book "Owning Your Choices"

In this episode we discuss:

1) The power of learning to listen to our emotions, experience them, and how the only way to heal ourselves is to feel the emotions.  We must feel to heal.

2) Learning to accept and love ourselves for who we are, what we have experienced and know that it’s all played a part in who we are today.  Resisting these feelings only keeps them around longer.

3) Our stories can create a massive impact in the lives of others and learning to share our stories can teach others how to light their own flame inside too.  It’s a massive ripple effect that we can all be a part of.
